Nan Lung Palmer is the Founder and Managing Director of FACEts Jewelry Consulting, a strategic merchandising and brand consultancy specializing in helping jewelry retailers, manufacturers, and designers create greater clarity, profitability, and intentional growth through the 5 P’s of Merchandising™.
With over 20 years in the jewelry industry and more than a decade leading FACEts, Nan’s work sits at the intersection of merchandising strategy, consumer psychology, product development, brand positioning, and retail transformation. FACEts’ client portfolio spans more than 40 brands, ranging from independent retailers and couture designers to international manufacturers and national retailers across both the luxury and commercial sectors of the industry.
Nan began her career as a Planner for Finlay Fine Jewelry, managing inventory and assortment planning across more than 800 retail locations nationwide. She later spent much of her career at Macy’s Inc., where she helped launch and grow major brands including Triton®, Effy, and Chocolate Diamonds® by Le Vian. In 2011, she joined David Yurman as Senior Retail Buyer during a period of rapid retail expansion, later leading merchandising strategy and assortment planning for key product launches and campaigns including Meteorite, Streamline®, Shelby Cobra Timepiece, and Cable Reimagined. She is a Diamond and Colored Stone Graduate of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Merchandising Management from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT).

Nan is the proud “Head Wrangler” of three school-aged children. She and her husband met through Muay Thai, and all five family members are passionate martial artists who love international travel, cooking, and exploring culture through food and shared experiences.
