My passion lies at the intersection of practical gemology, estate jewelry, and the post-consumer gemstone supply chain. Every day I work with retailers, appraisers, and industry professionals to identify, evaluate, and acquire colored gemstones and diamonds from domestic post-consumer sources, unlocking value while building more sustainable supply chains. I enjoy conversations about helping retailers build successful estate buying programs, develop domestic post-consumer supply chains, and recognize opportunity while reducing risk in the secondary market. I believe buying events can become far more than a way to acquire jewelry. They can become the starting point of a sustainable domestic gemstone supply chain. I am a Fellow of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain (FGA), an AGS Certified Gemologist (CG), and hold master's degrees in Geology from Ohio University and Business Administration from Western Governors University.
