Brian Toone is President and owner of Jewelry Design Center, a second-generation family business founded by his father, Doug Toone, in 1977. He joined his father in the family business full-time in 1997 and helped guide its growth, including the development of the nearly 17,000-square-foot Spokane flagship store, which was recognized by INSTORE magazine as one of America’s “Coolest Stores” in 2006. Brian purchased the company from his father in 2010 and has since expanded Jewelry Design Center to three locations in Washington and Montana. Under his leadership, Jewelry Design Center has become one of the Northwest’s leading independent jewelers, known for quality craftsmanship, custom design, and personalized service .Brian and his wife, Beth, have been married for 30 years and have two daughters, both of whom are interested in continuing the family business.
